Hope is an Associate in the Employment law department.

Hope’s experience in Employment law includes dealing with disputes relating to strikes, organisational rights, unfair labour practice, dismissals, unfair discrimination, retrenchments, and restraints of trade. He also assists clients with internal disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, conducting investigations and disputes in the Labour Court. Hope relishes the responsibility of appearing on behalf of clients in the Magistrate’s Court, CCMA and various Bargaining Councils.

His experience extends to reviewing and drafting contracts of employment and policies on behalf of clients. He also provides specialized legal advice to clients dealing with, among others, The Occupational Health and Safety Act, The Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, The Protection of Personal Information Act, The Employment Equity Act, and the interpretation of different Collective Agreements in the Labour industry.

He also has experience in General litigation, Banking law and Administrative law.
